Resistance breeding
In wheat we are working on Septoria tritici blotch and Fusarium head blight while in barley scald, netblotch and powdery mildew. Identifying resistant lines & novel genetic markers. Developing protocols for large scale screening.
HIGH-THROUGHPUT PHENOTYPING
Developing automated methods for phenotyping under controlled and field conditions.
GWAS & GENOMIC SELECTION
Implementing linkage mapping, GWAS & genomic selection in several crops species.
FORAGES FOR DROUGHT
Developing methods to evaluate forage germplasm for drought tolerance and response to irrigation. Methods are developed for both indoor and field conditions.

Developing methods to evaluate wheat and barley germplasm for drought tolerance and response to irrigation. Methods are developed for both indoor and field conditions.
